Accessibility

Effective: April 2026

Our Commitment

Tipid is built to be usable by everyone, including people who navigate their phone with assistive technology. Where the app falls short of that, we want to hear about it.

Accessibility Features

  • Every interactive element carries an accessibility label, hint, and trait, so VoiceOver can navigate the whole app.
  • Transactions can be logged by typing plain language, which avoids long forms.
  • Text scales with your system font size through Dynamic Type.
  • Animations are reduced or removed when “Reduce Motion” is on in iOS settings.
  • Interface colors meet WCAG contrast ratios.
  • The tab-based layout keeps the hierarchy shallow and predictable for assistive technologies.
  • Haptics confirm actions such as logging a transaction or hitting a budget limit.

This Website

This website follows WCAG 2.1 guidelines. It includes semantic HTML, a skip-to-content link, proper heading hierarchy, descriptive alt text, and keyboard-navigable interactive elements.

Feedback
